The 53rd Legislature, State of New Mexico, Second Session, 2018 approved SB0094, the “2018 Capital Projects General Obligation Bond Act”
Language from the law [SFA/SB0094, pp. 20-21]:
Bond B for Libraries’ GO Bonds passed with 68.7% of the cast votes in the 2018 General Election of the State. Voting percentages by county and additional information can be found here: county and precinct level results here.
ALLOCATIONS TO THE PUBLIC LIBRARIES
Allocations are based on the 4.5.8 NMAC, Distribution of Funds. The allocations are being finalized, using 2017 Estimated Census information for Counties and 2010 U.S. Census for the libraries’ Legal Service Areas.

GO Bond important dates:
April 1, 2022 – last day for 2018 GO bond reimbursement requests to be received by the State Library

Forms to be used for reimbursement requests:
Exhibit 1 – 2018 Paper Periodic/Final Report (word document) — to be included with each request for reimbursement
Exhibit 2 – 2018 Request for Payment Form (excel format) — to be included with each request for reimbursement; must include documentation for purchases and proof-of-payment
Exhibit 3 – 2018 Notice of Obligation Form (word document) — to be sent to the State Library prior to submitting any reimbursement requests.
All Forms must be signed and be an original copy.
