Inspire, Discover, Investigate
Integrating STEM and Literacy into Library Programs
Explora workshop for Librarians
Simple everyday objects and materials will be part of they fun, thought provoking workshop full of science activities integrated with literature and math which you can use in your library. Using the theme of space, light, and shadows, we’ll take an inquiry approach to learning. You’ll engage with actual materials while building your skills for supporting and facilitating science learning and literacy in your library. You’ll then have the opportunity to develop your own activity for children 0-5 years of age and their adults that you can immediately use in your library programming.
10 am – 2:30 pm
We’ll have a 30 minute break for lunch. Please bring a sack lunch:
- Friday, March 22nd @ Loma Colorado Main Library (Rio Rancho)
