Workshop – “Sunshine Laws”, Open Meetings Act, Inspection of Public Records Act

The Office of New Mexico Attorney General is conducting an educational workshop on the Sunshine Laws in the Village of Los Lunas on Wednesday, February 22, 2017.

The purpose of the workshops is to educate and assist government agencies, municipalities, the public and the media to better understand the duties and importance of transparency and compliance as well as the rights of the public under New Mexico’s Sunshine Laws, the Open Meetings Act and Inspection of Public Records Act.  The workshops are provided to educate and clarify questions for interested members of local governments, members of school boards, commissions, and the general public.
