The American Indian Library Association (AILA) has a couple of travel grants for library professionals (MLS not required) working in tribal libraries to attend conferences:
AILA will provide $600.00 each to two library professionals to attend the 2014 ALA Annual Conference in Las Vegas, NV.
They will also provide $600 to one library professional to attend the 2014 International Association of Indigenous Archives, Libraries, and Museums (ATALM) in Palm Springs, CA.
The funds can be used to help cover registration and travel expenses.
Applicant must be a current AILA member in good standing and be working in a tribal library of any kind.
