Evidently a lot of people know, but I’m just coming around to hearing about it. What am I talking about? Why, podcasts, of course! Let me clarify — I have heard of podcasts and even listened to a few in my day. But I had no idea that they were still out there and, evidently, a real attention-getter among those in the know.
Yep, podcasts, which have been around for a l-o-n-g time — The term “podcasting” was first mentioned by Ben Hammersley in The Guardian newspaper in a February 2004 article, along with other proposed names for the new medium.
