The State Library is continuing its early literacy initiative called STEM to Read. In this exciting professional development opportunity, Explora! Museum in Albuquerque will travel the state delivering workshops focusing on incorporating STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) concepts into story times and programming for the littlest learners. It should be very fun and interactive (Explora always is!), and the workshop will be highlighting the importance of learning through play!
Albuquerque: *Registration is Full*
Artesia: Tuesday, April 21 @ Artesia Public Library
Taos: Tuesday, May 5 @ Taos Public Library
Mark your calendars! Come and learn how to fuse science, technology, engineering & math in your pre-k storytimes and get parents involved in teaching STEM concepts to their kids.
More details on the workshops and pre-registration are to follow later this week. Questions in the meantime? Contact Ryanne Cooper.
Thank you to Explora! and host libraries Artesia Public Library and Taos Public Library.
