Star Wars Fest 3 at Rio Rancho Public Libraries was a huge success last month. Over 1,100 Star Wars fans came out to attend the event. This year we had our much loved Lego display and pool noodle light sabers, plus some new things like the Cantina and creating Star Wars movies on iPads. One of the most delicious crafts that day was the Edible Tie Fighters, made out of graham crackers, Nutella, and marshmallows. Our Facebook page has a Star Wars album of all the pictures from the day. The day was made even more special because the 501st and Rebel Legions showed up with Chewbacca and the Wampa. Many people as they were leaving kept saying they could not wait till Star Wars Fest 4!
