Rio Rancho Public Libraries seeks a library manager to lead the Esther Bone Memorial Library, a dynamic branch library in a growing Library system.
RRPL is a friendly, excellent, small city library system serving close to 27,900 people per month in one new and one newly renovated facility, with 45 staff members, a strong collection of 192,500+ items, and program attendance of 1,700+ a month. The annual circulation is 679,000+ items. The Annual Operating Budget is $2 million. The Esther Bone Memorial Library has 7.75 FTE, a collection of 72,000+ items, and a history of excellent programming. The Library Manager is a member of a strong team of library professionals that comprise the Library’s management team. The manager serves under the direction of the Direction of Library and Information Services. Responsibilities including supervision, programming, reference service, collection development and participation in planning and implementing new services.
