Research Assistance
New Mexico State Library collections are a resource for the public, public libraries statewide, legislative staff and other state employees. The southwest collection and federal and state collections are particularly useful for historians and genealogists. The information science collection is designed for librarians, archivists and other information specialists. We also provide help in finding grant sources through the Candid Foundation Directory database and other printed materials.
The library is open to the public Monday through Friday, 1 to 5 pm. We can also be reached via Ask-a-Librarian, or by phone at 505-476-9702. Most of our materials can be borrowed in person or via interlibrary loan.
