NMSU: Assessment & Data Management Librarian, Apply by 04/13/2014

New Mexico State UniversityNew Mexico State University Library is now accepting applications for an Assessment & Data Management Librarian, a new, 12-month non-tenure track college faculty position.

Engage and interact with library staff, user communities, and partners through formal and informal channels to measure the effectiveness of the library in meeting the teaching, learning, and research mission of the university. Build upon the library’s ongoing and current assessment practices by effectively promoting assessment efforts and data-informed decision making to identify and achieve strategic goals and objectives. Conduct standard data-collection and reporting activities, including those required by state, federal, and other entities. Collect qualitative and quantitative data, analyze results, prepare and produce interpretive reports, and communicate findings. Reporting to the Associate Dean of the Library, the incumbent will coordinate and implement assessment activities and create a knowledge base useful in planning, evaluation, and improvement processes, and perform other duties as assigned.
