University Archivist
The University of New Mexico, College of University Libraries & Learning Sciences (UL&LS) has an opening for a full-time University Archivist. We seek a service-oriented individual with a proven ability to assume the responsibilities of the University Archivist.
The successful candidate will ensure the preservation of, and access to, university records of enduring value and provide leadership, expertise, and knowledge of best practices in the management of University records in all formats (digital, textual and audio visual.) The University Archivist reports to the Director of the Center for Southwest Research in the University Libraries. The University Archivist provides primary resource research assistance and instruction, develops grants, and creates and maintains EAD finding aids.
