With a grant from the United States Department of Agriculture, the New Mexico State Library is helping libraries support telehealth by shipping and setting up “Whisper Booths” at Aztec Public Library, Mescalero Community Library, Fort Sumner Public Library, and Octavia Fellin Public Library. Libraries have also started their first cohort, led by Deirdre Caparoso from the UNM Health and Information Science Library, to build skills for telehealth services and community health partnerships. In the second round, booths have been awarded to Hobbs Public Library, Bayard Public Library, and Columbus Public Library. These booths will be shipped once administrative approval is complete.
