Announcement from EBSCO:

Apply for the New EBSCO Solar Grant Today

There is still time to ask questions about the EBSCO Solar Grant if you are interested in switching your library to solar power. Right now the most asked question is ‘Is this too good to be true?’ The answer is ‘No.’ We really do want to pay for libraries to install solar arrays that will defray their electricity costs.

As a business, we believe that being environmentally responsible is the right thing to do. As a vendor, we encourage libraries to examine their environmental footprint and we want to help.

EBSCO has introduced EBSCO Solar, a grant of up to $150,000 for publicly funded academic, school and public libraries interested in going solar.

Applications will be accepted until April 29th with the winner(s) announced at ALA-Annual conference on June 24th.

Learn more about EBSCO Solar and how to apply for the grant at www.ebsco.com/solar.
