Employment Opportunity: Readers Experience Coordinator, New Mexico State Library

The New Mexico State Library is hiring a Readers Experience Coordinator (DCA #00004764)

Acts as liaison between LBPD and Keystone. Works with staff to develop best practices and workflows. Assists with running queries and reports from the KLAS database. Reviews all new titles added to program. Identifies and maintains local subjects based on patron needs in communication with Reader Advisors. Loads new records and content ratings and administers Rating Unrated Books program. Maintains record accuracy, including series sequencing and heading accuracy. Creates reading lists, starter sets, and genre reviews. Periodically communicates via various media outlets volunteer support opportunities available with LBPD. Communicates with interested volunteers as to support options with library. Supporst Reader Services related areas such as player inventory and distribution. Coordinates editing and printing of quarterly newsletter. Creates and presents occasional in-person and recorded trainings related to LBPD services such as BARD use.

Salary

$21.13 – $33.81 Hourly

$43,954 – $70,326 Annually

This position is a Pay Band 65

Ideal Candidate:

Preference for Associate’s Degree or higher in administrative or library related field; four (4) or more years of experience in a library or related occupation; experience in knowledge areas such as customer and personal service and communications and media.

 

Minimum Qualification:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and two (2) years of experience in the procedures of business and management principles involved in strategic planning. Substitutions Apply.
