The UNM Health Sciences Library and Informatics Center seeks an independent thinking and versatile professional to serve as the Library Services Coordinator for its Resources, Archives, and Discovery (RAD) unit. The position requires excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a desire to work behind the scenes of an academic library. The Coordinator will report to the library operations manager in RAD. Responsibilities include:
The Coordinator will participate in special projects and work closely with members of RAD to prioritize digitization projects from the library’s special collections and institutional repository, create metadata, and develop workflow processes for adding digital content to appropriate systems. Please note that the employee may be required to lift/push up to 25 pounds. Funding for travel/relocation expenses are not available for this position.See the Position Description for additional information. |

Minimum Qualifications | Bachelor’s degree; at least 4 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. |
