
- Provides guidance and assistance to library patrons regarding general to complex information requests in person, over the phone, and via email and chat
- Provides library circulation services, including problem-solving complex issues, and may assist with ILL and monitoring and billing for overdue items
- Assists with desk coverage and monitors student employees in Public Services to ensure compliance with established procedures
- Monitors and assists patrons with library technology, including student computing, printing, and the Virtual Reality Lab
- Monitors public spaces in the library, including reporting incidents and issues and opening and closing the library
- Assists with maintenance of organizational resources (statistics, training and documentation guides, etc.)
- May serve on library committees and working groups
- May initiate and assist with special projects
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
