The New Mexico State Library is hiring a Federal Accountant – Auditor A for full-time work in Santa Fe, NM.
This position administers NM State Library’s Federal Grant Funding, including procurement, budget, contracts, grants, accounts payable and revenue deposits.
Salary: $21.13 – $33.81 Hourly
Closing Date: 03/22/2023 Interviews are anticipated to be conducted within two weeks of closing date.
Who are the customers? Multiple Bureaus of the NM State Library. Collaborates frequently with the department’s Administrative Services Division (ASD).
- Ability to operate independently and effectively within state and federal policies and procedures.
- Experience with state SHARE financial system or similar.

Experience managing grants, including budgeting, spending, and reporting.
Experience in an office setting providing a high level of customer service to colleagues in support of established goals.
Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing or Business Administration and two (2) years directly related work experience in accounting, auditing, finance and/or budgeting. Substitutions Apply. See Substitution Table.
