The University of New Mexico Health Sciences Library and Informatics Center (UNM HSLIC) invites applications for an Education and Research Services Librarian. This position contributes to advancing the Library’s goal of creating services and spaces that promote innovation, collaboration and engagement for all learners. We are looking for a creative person with a high degree of organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills to join the Education, Consultation and Reference Services team.
The Education and Research Services librarian provides library services to support teaching and learning, research productivity and patient care. She/he participates in the formal educational efforts of the Library including developing instructional materials, research guides, web tutorials, and support services. She/he provides instruction and consultation in bibliographic research methods, information literacy and ethical scholarship. The incumbent in this position will cultivate and sustain collaborative relationships with faculty, students, investigators and staff in support of campus teaching, learning and research.
