Aspart of the STEM to Read Initiative, the New Mexico State Library is offering free workshops on using and adapting the early literacy program, Every Child Ready to Read, in your library.
There will be 4 workshops statewide:
- April 11th @ Socorro Public Library 9:30-3:00
- April 26th @ Silver City Public Library 9:30-3:00
- April 29th @ Taos Public Library 9:30-3:00
- May 4th @ New Mexico State Library 9:30-3:00

Through STEM to Read, children 0-5 and their caregivers explored ways to engage in pre-literacy skills through science-based activities. To deliver this program statewide, NMSL is partnering with the New Mexico Library Foundation, Explora Museum, the New Mexico Library Foundation, and United Way of Northern New Mexico.
