How did an author’s work change your view of the world or yourself?
This is the question that The Center for the Book in the Library of Congress is asking young readers this year for its annual writing contest, Letters About Literature.
The contest is open to students in grades 4-6 (Level 1), 7-8 (Level 2), and 9-12 (Level 3).
Teachers and librarians – Help get the word out!
Please review and print the entry form and distribute to your students and young readers in the designated grade levels. State and national awards will be given to the winning letter writers in each level (as determined by a panel of judges).
