The UNM Health Sciences Library and Informatics Center is seeking a Library Information Specialist III for its Resource, Archives and Discovery unit. The position requires excellent attention to detail, a strong customer service orientation, knowledge of library resources, and the ability to accurately create and maintain records in an integrated library system. Incumbent will report to the library operations manager and will update catalog records as needed, create item records, and communicate changes made to the system. The incumbent will work closely with the resource management librarians in the renewal of serials and purchasing new e-journal titles. This position is responsible for the administrative duties for serials such as communicating with vendors, receiving invoices, change notification, cancellations, ceased and new titles; and updating this information into the library’s Collection Management tool. Incumbent will also track use statistics for the library’s electronic resources.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
