Book Page Trees!

‘Tis the season for crafty projects at your local public libraries…

On Friday December 16, I attended the Get Crafty program at the Juan Tabo branch library in Albuquerque. The craft on this particular afternoon, a book page tree! The event was well attended by adults and children. It took a bit of time to do the page folds, but once the folds were complete, the fun really started. They provided participants with an amazing array of decorations. I especially loved the mini Santa hats.

Most attendees were regulars and it was fun to hear the interactions between them. Jackie, the program coordinator encouraged participants to attend the many programs they have planned in the coming weeks. Most stated they were definitely going to attend. I think most libraries are going to be quite busy through the end of the year!

Happy Holidays!
