Each New Mexican might only follow what’s happening at their own local public library, but at the state library we look at the impact libraries are having in their communities statewide. Of course, we know that the impact of a public library is much more that just numbers – but the numbers do tell an important story. Here’s a preview of statewide statistics drawn from the annual Public Library Survey, administered by the New Mexico State Library.
