$1.5 Million in Stimulus Funds Awarded to State Library

FFNM logoA $1.5 million grant was awarded to the New Mexico State Library to increase broadband adoption and promote computer literacy and Internet use among vulnerable populations, Hispanic and Native American users, small businesses, and entrepreneurs through trainings and outreach statewide.  The award will support the Fast Forward New Mexico initiative, which includes training programs at public and tribal libraries to increase the skills of New Mexico citizens. Click here for Governor Richardson's press release on Fast Forward New Mexico.
